Julie L. Siegel is a partner at Frankel, Rubin, Klein, Siegel, Payne & Pudlowski, P.C. Julie L. Siegel received a B.A. from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana and her juris doctorate at Saint Louis University.
As the daughter of a trial attorney, I was naturally drawn to the practice of law. I wanted to be just like my father. I learned at an early age the commitment and dedication it took to practice law. I spent my life working hard to follow my dreams and passions. I went to college at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, earning my bachelor of the arts with honors for my double major or history and communications. Upon graduating from the University of Illinois, my only focus was law school. Once in law school, I loved learning and absorbing the law. I soaked in the process. In law school I clerked for a federal Judge, and got a taste for life in the courthouse. I love the whole process of jury trials.
After graduating from St. Louis University School of law in 1996, I joined a medium sized firm. While there, I was lucky enough to learn several areas of law, so I could truly find the best fit. I had the best mentor in the world, my father, who was a champion for justice. He truly believed that all people were entitled to fair access to the courts, and wrongs could be made right in the court system. While I loved learning multiple areas, I knew I had a passion for helping people who sustained serious injuries through no fault of their own. I had my own issues, causing me to deal with the onslaught of claim denials that came with it. That’s when I decided to focus my practice on personal injury and workers compensation. Like many of my clients, I overcame health issues, and taught myself how to navigate medical treatment while dealing with insurance companies who did not want to pay claims. I developed a strong belief and conviction that people who were injured by the negligence of another needed the best legal assistance there was. I possess unique skills and talents to help my clients because I have done it for myself. I never forgot what if felt like to be in their position.
After leaving the larger firm in 2001, and joining Frankel, Rubin, Klein, Siegel, Payne & Pudlowski, I continued to hone my skills, winning jury trials for people seriously injured in car crashes, and forcing those who were at fault to pay what was fair. I handle a variety of injury cases including car crashes, truck crashes, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and workers’ compensation. I have tried dozens of jury trials and have helped hundreds of thousands of people throughout my decade’s long career. I know and understand that people are often confused about what happens after they have been injured, and I have dedicated my life to being a champion for those going through some of the worst times in their lives. I have helped my clients recover millions of dollars for their injuries by knowing that each person and each circumstance is different and requires a unique and personal touch. I have focused solely on giving each client the best representation with a solution unique to their situation.
I grew up in the St. Louis area and am committed to the St. Louis Community, serving on boards of directors for the local chapter of the National Kidney Foundation, United Network for Organ Sharing, and supporting local charities including Gateway Pet Guardians, St. Jude, and the American Liver Foundation. When I’m not working, I love long hikes in nature, and connecting with my mind, body, and spirit through the practice of yoga.
